Gerry’s first book is called Sherlock Holmes and the Affair in Transylvania is published by MX Publishing who specialise in Sherlock Holmes and Victoriana.
Gerry has captured the zeitgeist of the era and has cleverly modeled his writing style on Conan Doyle to create a modern classic that has film script written all over it.
The book has been beautifully illustrated by Penny Rose who has again emulated the artistic style of the great Sidney Paget.
The combination of their work is ‘unputdownable’ and hopefully the beginning of a whole new set of stories about the cunning detective and his faithful companion Watson.
Over the next 12 months, Gerry will be publishing at least three more books …
Every artisan merits a memorable quote that sums up their career. The fabulous Joan Collins unwittingly gave Gerry the title of his autobiography which is being published in the middle of next year. Keep your eyes peeled for “She Called Me Mediocre”.
Gerry’s amazing ability to write in any style has resulted in another book called Havoc in Chase County which you would swear was penned by the great Raymond Chandler himself. ‘Havoc’ will be in bookshops and downloadable for your Kindle next year.
He has also just penned a charming children’s book called Finula and the Spaceman which will be made into a multimedia iPhone app.
